A good funeral or ‘qersetnefret’ was highly important for the Egyptians.
Miniature statuettes and amulets of known Egyptian gods/goddesses such as Osiris and Horus and a faïence hawk with a crown form part of the Iziko collection. Amulets like these were often worn as lucky charms and for protection.

The Isis terra-cotta statuette is a depiction of the well-known Greek-Roman goddess Selena-Luna.
